This deck starts off from the intention to find a way of using deck that packs Triggered Summon and Crashbug Road, which will trigger Chaos Hunter and Cyber Dinosaur. I'd try to find a way to balance things out but everything I tried turns out to be inconsistent. Hunter is easier to summon than CyberDino but that comes at a cost of -1. T.G has been tried, but that fails. I decided to try some Fabled cards and it works and fine tuned it a bit and take out Crashbug, CyberDino and other stuffs. That makes room for direction that I want to bring the deck into, and with the presence of Fabled, Dragon Ice takes the place of CyberDino and Skill Drain ties everything together.
Now, card-by-card explanation,
3 Chaos Hunter - The biggest beater in the deck. Wrecks Rabbit, immune to Prison and Bottomless, and barely affected by Skill Drain. Gilasaurus helps trigger Hunter if the opponent is reluctant to special summon. Level 7 works with Bulb and Catsith . Heck, on a rare occassion where there are two of this on the field, Number 11 : Big Eye is a possibility. Oh, this + Catsith ruins lots of combo.
2 Dragon Ice - Perfect for the deck theme. Re-usable, even card trade, combos well but lacking offensive firepower. Level 5 , thus being main synchro fodder to go with Dino for Level 8 Synchros. Discarding dead cards is always useful.
1 Phantom Dragon - 2300 will force Rabbit player to go for Dolkka. Drawback is buffered by Skill Drain. Doesnt have much combo though, just another beater to put the pressure on and finish off the game fast.
3 Maxx "C" - Hand traps are important this format and most likely for few format succeeding. Gives the deck consistency and also, Gilasaurus can trigger this. Shame I had to forgo Crashbug, etc. otherwise this can be triggered very easily.
3 Gilasaurus - Sets up a whole lot of combo. Trigger Chaos Hunter, discard Ganashia and goes for XYZ. Also give Dino a fodder. Gila's stats is sexy too. Searchable with Fossil Dig, XYZ or Synchro option with Dino.
2 Jurrac Dino - This allows me to play a mini toolbox with Fossil Dig. Unaffected by Skill Drain and brings along that kind of sexiness when paired with Forbidden Chalice too. Brings balance with its pluses in an otherwise low utility monster lineup.
